During your internship you will have the opportunity to earn Digital Badges which recognise and evidence your progress as a teaching intern. On this page you can earn your the GTS QTSlite Bronze badge. To earn this Badge, you must complete the following THREE Missions:
MISSION 1 - SAFEGUARDING TRAINING
Attend your school's safeguarding training and provide evidence of your attendance
MISSION 2 - UNDERSTAND SAFEGUARDING
Briefly describe an example of how the school's safeguarding policy is carried out in practice.
In the course of a conversation with a pupil you learn that the pupil awoke the previous night to find that there were no adults in the house.
In the MISSION 2 text box below, describe what steps you would take to ensure that the school's safeguarding policy is adhered to.
MISSION 3 - LESSON OBSERVATION
Begin to develop your lesson observation skills by observing an expert teacher and reflecting on what you saw. You should complete the GT Prompts and Questions sheet and then upload the completed template or a photo of it below. (You may also use other templates should your school wish you to do so. You can also video your reflections if you prefer.)
